Holistic financial advice, what is it?

Updated: Jul 10, 2023

Back in the day, financial advice was designed to concentrate on one particular area of someone’s situation, maybe about their pension or investments. Whilst this approach may still be needed, as financial advisers we aspire to provide holistic advice by working with clients to help them meet their overall financial goals.

Looking at all aspects of life, both personal and financial, holistic advice establishes goals and then builds and implements a realistic plan to meet them. The goals, of course, are unique to everyone and dependent on many varied criteria, from personal circumstances to lifestyle requirements.

The first step is to understand you and establish what the goals are… perhaps to retire by a certain age, own a holiday home abroad, travel or to provide a secure future for your family. The holistic process measures where you are today verses where you wish to realistically get to and implements a plan for getting there, taking in to account both your current financial situation and likely future changes.

As we all know circumstances can change from time to time so having a continued relationship with your someone you trust will allow for an implemented plan to be amended to take in to account any changes as your life evolves...

If you’re not sure your financial goals are on track (or perhaps you’re not sure what they are) get in touch to see if we can build a plan together for your financial future.

Our services relate to certain investments whose prices are dependent on fluctuations in the financial markets beyond our control. Investments and the income from them may go down as well as up and you may get back less than the amount invested. Past performance cannot be used as a reliable prediction of future performance.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
